The bee is depicted as mixed: its upper body as a female figuré with its hands on its chest and its lower body as an insect with large wingś, adorned with spotted flowers. According to a mythological version, the bees together with Amalthea fed the infant Zeus in the ideal Andron. The object from which the logo of the Museum of Ancient Eleftherna is inspired.
